ACTOR'S ARM BRUISES BEFORE HIS EGO DOES; EGO LISTED AS 'STABLE'

On-set mishap leaves limb purple and pride intact. Doctors call the order of events "medically backwards."

Mr. Samman on set, moments before "one thing led to another." The phone is not believed to be involved.

In what physicians are calling "a complete reversal of the natural order," actor Mishal Samman's arm sustained visible bruising during the filming of Anger Management, while his ego emerged entirely unharmed.

"One thing led to another," Mr. Samman said in a statement, which is also the only explanation anyone has been able to get out of him. "My arm bruised before my ego did."

Medical experts say the sequence is almost unheard of in the acting profession, where the ego typically bruises first, usually at the audition, and the arm is rarely involved at all. Management at the Continental, a hotel for professional assassins, reviewed photographs of the bruise and classified it "adorable."

Crew members note that the scene shows Mr. Samman in an office, on the phone, tie loosened, still deep in character long after the call has ended. "Which," said one, "is apparently a theme with him this week."

The clip airs on Channel 6 of the MeeshVision set, operated with the + and – knobs. Viewers are asked not to attempt the scene at home, especially the part where one thing leads to another.
